The villa sits up on the hill facing north, so the whole house looks out over the sea to Mount Agung and the Bali mainland. The big sliding doors in the living room fold right back and the horizon becomes the wall.

Outside, the private pool stretches along the garden, framed by natural stone and grass on two terraced levels – one for sunbathing and swimming, one with a shaded roof for slow mornings – with sun loungers and a parasol. The terrace off the living room is the social heart of the house.

Inside, the living room is fully air-conditioned with the kitchen built in, and both bedrooms have their own en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet and a desk for anyone who needs to work. The villa is cleaned daily, and coffee, tea and water are provided.

You are about ten minutes from the main restaurants and dive centres, but surrounded by green.
